حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: نَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ عَنْ شُمَيْسَةَ بِنْتِ نَبْهَانَ. عَنْ مَوْلَاهَا مُسْلِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ " يُبَايِعُ النِّسَاءَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ عَلَى الصَّفَا، فَجَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ كَأَنَّ يَدَهَا يَدُ الرَّجُلِ، فَأَبَى أَنْ يُبَايِعَهَا حَتَّى ذَهَبَتْ فَغَيَّرَتْ يَدَهَا بِصُفْرَةٍ، وَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ فِي يَدِهِ خَاتَمٌ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ "، فَقَالَ: مَا طَهَّرَ اللهُ يَدًا فِيهَا خَاتَمٌ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ
Translation

✧ I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ taking the pledge of allegiance from women in the year of the conquest at al-Safa. A woman came whose hand was like a man's hand, and he refused to accept her pledge until she went and changed her hand with yellow dye. And a man came to him with an iron ring on his hand, and he said: 'God has not purified a hand on which there is an iron ring.'
