✧ Indeed, the act of obedience most swift in reward is maintaining ties of kinship. A household may be wicked, yet their wealth grows and their numbers increase if they maintain their kinship ties. And the acts of disobedience most swift in punishment are transgression and betrayal. The false oath strips away wealth, diminishes offspring, and leaves the homes desolate.
