✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw the people pollinating date palms and said: “What is wrong with the people?” He said: They are pollinating, O Messenger of Allah. He said: “No pollination,” or “I do not think pollination is of any use.” He said: So they abandoned pollination, and the people’s dates turned out to be inferior. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “I am not a farmer nor an owner of palms; pollinate.”
