"لما أسرى بالنبي ﷺ أصبح يحدث بذلك الناس، فارتد ناس ممن كان آمن به وصدق (به) وفتنوا فقال أبو بكر: إنِي (لأصدقه) فيما هو أبعد من ذلك، (أصدقه) بخبر السماء في غدوة أو روحة، فلذلك سمي: أَبَا بكر الصديق".
Translation
✧ "When the Prophet ﷺ ascended, he began informing the people about it. Some people who used to believe in him and trust him went astray and doubted. Abu Bakr said, 'I believe him even in matters further than that, and I believe him regarding news from the heavens in the morning or evening.' That is why he was called Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq."
