"عَنْ أَبِى الطُّفَيل قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَلِيّا يَقُولُ: أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ! تُحِبُّونَ أَنْ يُكَذَّبَ الله وَرَسُولُهُ؟ حَدِّثُوا النَّاسَ بمَا تَعْرِفُونَ، وَدَعُوا مَا تُنْكِرُونَ".
Translation

✧ On the authority of Abu al-Tufayl, he said: I heard ʿAlī say: “O people! Do you want Allah and His Messenger to be belied? Speak to the people about what you know, and leave what you do not recognize.”
