"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to Ḥamzah b. ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib one day and did not find him, so he asked his wife about him, and she was of Banū al-Najjār. She said: He went out. May my father be your ransom, he set out heading toward you, and I think he missed you in one of the alleys of Banū al-Najjār. Will you not come in, O Messenger of Allah? So he entered, and she presented him with cheese, and he ate some of it. She said: O Messenger of Allah, may it be wholesome and pleasant for you. You came just as I was about to come to you to wish you well with it. Abū ʿUmārah told me that you have been given a river in Paradise called al-Kawthar. He said: Yes, and its courtyard is of ruby, coral, chrysolite and pearl. She said: I would like you to describe your Pond to me with a description that I may hear from you. He said: It is the distance between Aylah and Ṣanʿāʾ, in it are pitchers equal in number to the stars, and the dearest of those who come to it to me is your people, O daughter of Fahd, meaning the Anṣār."
