"ارحَمُوا ترحَموا؛ واغْفِروا يُغْفَر لكم، وَيلٌ لأقماعِ القوْلِ، ويل للمُصِّرينَ الذين يُصرُّونَّ على ما فَعَلوُا وَهم يعلمون ".
Translation
from the Prophet ﷺ that he said while he was on the pulpit, “Be merciful ˹to others˺ and you will receive mercy. Forgive others and Allah will forgive you.” “Woe to the vessels of speech (ears that ignore advice); Woe to the persistent folk who persist upon ˹the wrong˺ they continue to do while they are aware.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 6541)
