"لا تَبِيعُوا الْقَيْنَات وَلَا تَشْتَرُوهُنَّ، وَلا تُعَلِّمُوهُنَّ، ولَا خَيرَ فِي تجارَةٍ فِيهنَّ، وَثَمَنُهُنَّ حَرامٌ، في مِثْلِ هَذَا أُنزِلَتْ هَذه الآيَةُ {وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ. إلخ} ".
Translation
✧ “Do not sell singing girls, nor buy them, nor teach them, and there is no good in trading in them; their price is unlawful. Concerning something like this, this verse was revealed: {And among the people are those who purchase idle talk…}.”
