عن ابن عباس
"مَنْ شَرِبَ حَسْوَةً مِنْ خَمْرٍ لَمْ يَقْبَلِ اللهُ مِنْهُ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ صَرْفًا وَلَا عَدْلًا، وَمَنْ شَرِبَ كَأسًا لَمْ يَقْبَلِ اللهُ مِنْهُ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا، وَالمُدْمِنُ الخَمْرَ حَقٌّ عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يَسْقِيَهُ مِنْ نَهْر الخَبَالِ. قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ: وَمَا نَهْرُ الخَبَالِ؟ قَال: صَدِيدُ أَهْلِ النَّار".
Translation

✧ “Whoever drinks a sip of wine, Allah will not accept from him for three days any obligatory or supererogatory deed; and whoever drinks a cup, Allah will not accept from him for forty mornings; and the habitual drinker of wine—it is incumbent upon Allah to make him drink from the River of al-Khabāl.” It was said: “O Messenger of Allah, what is the River of al-Khabāl?” He said: “The pus of the people of the Fire.”
