عن أَبي الدرداء
"مَنْ شَرِبَ الخَمْرَ لَمْ يَقْبَلِ الله لَهُ صَلاةً أَرْبَعِينَ لَيلَةً، فَإنْ تَابَ تَابَ الله عَلَيهِ، فَإِنْ عَادَ كَانَ مِثْل ذَلِكَ، فَإِنْ عَادَ كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى الله أَنْ يَسْقِيَهُ مِنْ طِينَةِ الخَبَال، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ الله: وَمَا طِينَةُ الخَبَالِ؟ قَال: عُصَارَةُ أَهْل النَّارِ".
Translation

- Abū al-Dardāʾ
✧ “Whoever drinks wine, Allah will not accept from him a prayer for forty nights. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he returns to it, it will be the same; and if he returns again, it becomes incumbent upon Allah to make him drink from the ‘mud of khabāl.’ They said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, what is the mud of khabāl?’ He said, ‘the discharge of the people of the Fire.’”
