"كبُرَ مَقْتًا عِنْدَ الله الأَكْلُ مِنْ غَيرِ جُوعٍ، والنَّوْمُ مِنْ (غَيرِ) سَهَر، والضَّحِكُ مِنْ غَيرِ عَجَبٍ، وصَوْتُ الرَّنَّةِ عِنْدَ الْمُصِيبَةِ، والْمِزْمَارُ عِنْدَ الْنَعْمَة".
Translation
✧ "It is greatly detested by God to eat without hunger, sleep without sleeplessness, laugh without wonder, wail at a misfortune, and play the flute at a blessing."
