عن أَبى هريرة
"سَأَلْتُ رَبَّى - ﷻ - فَوَعَدَنى أَنْ يُدْخِلَ من أُمَّتِى سَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا عَلَى صُورَةِ الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ، فَاسْتَزَدْتُ رَبَّى فزَادَنى مَعَ كُلِّ أَلْفٍ سَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا. فَقُلْتُ: أَى رَبِّ إِن لم يكن هَؤُلَاءِ مُهَاجِرِى أُمَّتِى، قَالَ: إِذن أُكَمِّلُهم لَكَ مِنَ الأَعْرَابِ".
Translation

✧ I asked my Lord - Glorified and Exalted be He - and He promised me that He would admit seventy thousand from my followers with the appearance of the full moon on a full moon night. So I asked my Lord for more, and He granted me with every thousand an additional seventy thousand. I said: “O my Lord, if these are not from the emigrants of my followers,” He said: “Then I will complete them for you from among the Bedouins.”
