عن عائشة قالت قَالَ لِىَ أَبِى

أَلَا أُعَلِّمُكِ دُعَاءً عَلَّمَنِيه رَسُولُ الله ﷺ ؟ وَقَالَ: كَانَ عِيسَى يُعَلِّمُهُ الْحوارَييِّنَ، لَوْ كَانَ عَلَيْكِ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ دَيْنًا لَقَضَاهُ اللهُ عَنْكِ، قُلْتُ: بَلَى، قَالَ: قُولِى:  اللَّهُمَّ فَارِجَ الْهَمِّ، وَكَاشِفَ الْكَرْبِ، مُجِيبَ دَعْوَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّينَ، رَحْمَانَ الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ، أَنْتَ رَحْمَانِى فَارْحَمْنِى رَحْمَةً تُغْنِينِى بِهَا عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ.

Translation

  1. ʿĀʾishah from her father

✧ “Shall I not teach you a supplication that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me? He said: Jesus used to teach it to the disciples; if you had a debt like Mount Uhud, Allah would repay it for you. I said: Yes. He said: Say: O Allah, Reliever of worry, Remover of distress, Answerer of the supplication of the distressed; Most Merciful of this world and the Hereafter, You are my Most Merciful—so have mercy on me with a mercy by which You make me independent of all besides You.”
