That he heard Abū Burdah b. Abī Mūsā — he and Yazīd b. Abī Kabshah had travelled together on a journey, and Yazīd used to fast — so Abū Burdah said to him: I heard Abū Mūsā say many times: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When a servant falls ill or travels, there is written for him a reward like that which he used to do while resident and healthy."

machine translationShaykh Aḥmad said: Their wording is the same, except that in the narration of al-Ḥārith: Ibrāhīm b. Abī Ismāʿīl narrated to me. And al-Bukhārī narrated it in the Ṣaḥīḥ from Maṭar b. al-Faḍl, from Yazīd b. Hārūn.
