He said: Abū Mūsā visited al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī when he was ill. ʿAlī said to him: "Have you come as a visitor of the sick or as a mere caller?" He said: "Rather, I have come to visit the sick." ʿAlī ؓ said: "Indeed, there is no Muslim who visits a sick person but seventy thousand angels go out with him, asking forgiveness for him, if it is in the morning, until the evening; and he will have a harvest of fruit (kharīf) in Paradise. And if it is in the evening, seventy thousand angels go out with him, all of them asking forgiveness for him, and he will have a harvest of fruit (kharīf) in Paradise."

machine translationMost of the companions of Shuʿbah narrated it from him as a statement of the Companion (mawqūf). ʿAbdullāh b. Yazīd al-Muqriʾ narrated it from Shuʿbah as attributed to the Prophet (marfūʿ), then afterwards made it mawqūf. Ibn Abī ʿAdī narrated it from him as marfūʿ. Manṣūr narrated it from al-Ḥakam as Shuʿbah narrated it, mawqūf. Al-Aʿmash narrated it from al-Ḥakam, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Abī Laylā, who said: Abū Mūsā came to visit al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī, and he mentioned it, except that he said "gloating" in place of his words "a mere caller". ʿAlī said: "If you have come to visit the sick, then I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'When a man comes to his brother to visit him when he is sick, he walks in the fruit-garden of Paradise until he sits. When he sits, mercy envelops him. If it is in the morning, seventy thousand angels pray for him until the evening; and if it is in the evening, seventy thousand angels pray for him until the morning.'"
