أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُؤَمَّلِ الْمُؤَمَّلِيُّ، نا أَبُو عُثْمَانَ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَصْرِيُّ، نا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، نا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، نا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ،
قَالَتْ: كَانَ أُنَاسٌ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ يَأْتُونَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَيَقُولُونَ: السَّامُ عَلَيْكَ، فَيَقُولُ: " وَعَلَيْكُمْ "، فَفَطِنَتْ بِهِمْ عَائِشَةُ فَسَبَّتْهُمْ، فَقَالَ: " مَهْ يَا عَائِشَةُ، إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفُحْشَ، وَلَا التَّفَحُّشَ "، قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ كَذَا وَكَذَا، قَالَ: " أَلَيْسَ قَدْ رَدَدْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ؟ " فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى {وَإِذَا جَاءُوكَ حَيَّوْكَ بِمَا لَمْ يُحَيِّكَ بِهِ اللهُ} إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ،
