أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، قَالَ: أنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، قَالَ: نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، قَالَ: نا أَبُو تَوْبَةَ الْحَلَبِيُّ، قَالَ: نا مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ عُلَيِّ بْنِ خَلَفٍ الْخُشَنِيُّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ،
قَالَ: رَآنِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَأَنَا أَلْتَفِتُ، فَقَالَ: " مَا لَكَ تَلْتَفِتُ؟ "، قُلْتُ: آخَيْتُ رَجُلًا، قَالَ: " إِذَا أَحْبَبْتَ رَجُلًا فَاسْأَلْهُ عَنِ اسْمِهِ، وَاسْمِ أَبِيهِ، فَإِنْ كَانَ غَائِبًا حَفِظْتَهُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مَرِيضًا فَعُدْهُ، وَإِنْ مَاتَ شَهِدْتَهُ ". " تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ عُلَيٍّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ وَلَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ "
