أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ السِّمِّذِيُّ، قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ شِيرَوَيْهِ، قَالَ: نا إِسْحَاقُ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ، قَالَ: أنا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ،
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " إِنَّ مِنْ عِبَادِ اللهِ عِبَادًا مَا هُمْ بِأَنْبِيَاءَ وَلَا شُهَدَاءَ، يَغْبِطُهُمُ الْأَنْبِيَاءُ وَالشُّهَدَاءُ لِمَكَانِهِمْ مِنَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ "، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَنْ هُمْ؟، وَمَا أَعْمَالُهُمْ؟، أَخْبِرْنَا مَنْ هُمْ؟ قَالَ: " هُمْ قَوْمٌ تَحَابُّوا بِرُوحِ اللهِ عَلَى غَيْرِ أَرْحَامٍ بَيْنَهُمْ، وَلَا أَمْوَالٍ يَتَعَاطَونَهَا، فَوَاللهِ إِنَّ وُجُوهَهُمْ لَنُورٌ، وَإِنَّهُمْ لَعَلَى نُورٍ، لَا يَخَافُونَ إِذَا خَافَ النَّاسُ، وَلَا يَحْزَنُونَ إِذَا حَزِنَ النَّاسُ "، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ: {أَلَا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاءَ اللهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ} [يونس: 62].
