أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، قَالَ: أنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ، قَالَ: أنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ح، وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ، وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ دَعْلَجُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ السِّجْزِيُّ، ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ بِالْبَصْرَةِ، قَالَ: نا رُسْتَةُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ،
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، قَالَ: " الْبَادِئُ بِالسَّلَامِ بَرِيءٌ مِنَ الْكِبْرِ "
