وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، قَالَ: نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، قَالَ: نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ الْكُوفِيُّ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ، قَالَ: نا أَبِي، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ،
قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " إِنَّ السَّلَامَ اسْمٌ مِنْ أَسْمَاءِ اللهِ تَعَالَى، وَضَعَهُ بَيْنَكُمْ فَأَفْشُوهُ، فَإِذَا سَلَّمَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ كَانَ لَهُ عَلَيْهِمْ فَضْلُ دَرَجَةٍ لِأَنَّهُ ذَكَّرَهُمُ السَّلَامَ، فَإِنْ هُمْ رَدُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَإِلَّا رَدَّ عَلَيْهِ مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْهُمْ وَأَطْيَبُ " قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ
