That she came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was among his Companions, and said: "May my father and mother be your ransom. I am the delegate of the women to you. Know – may my soul be your ransom – that there is no woman in the east or the west who has heard of this journey of mine, or has not heard of it, except that she is of the same opinion as I am. Indeed God sent you with the truth to men and women, so we believed in you and in your God who sent you. We women are confined and restricted; we are the foundations of your houses, the fulfillers of your desires, and the bearers of your children. And you, O company of men, have been favored over us through the Friday prayer, the congregations, visiting the sick, attending funerals, and performing Hajj after Hajj, and better than all of that is jihad in the way of God. When a man among you goes out for Hajj, or ʿUmrah, or to guard the frontier, we guard your wealth for you, spin garments for you, and raise your children for you. So do we share with you in the reward, O Messenger of God?" He said: The Prophet ﷺ turned to his Companions with his whole face, then said: "Have you ever heard a woman speak better than this one in her question about the matter of her religion?" They said: "O Messenger of God, we did not think that a woman could be guided to something like this." Then the Prophet ﷺ turned to her and said to her: "Go back, O woman, and let the women behind you know that the good companionship of one of you with her husband, her seeking his approval, and her following his agreement equals all of that." He said: So the woman went away, saying "There is no god but God" and "God is the Greatest" in joy.
