أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْحَافِظُ، حدثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شَاذَانَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ حدثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْمُقْرِئُ الزَّاهِدُ، حدثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ الْحِمْصِيُّ، أخبرنا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ تَمَّامِ بْنِ نَجِيحٍ
قَالَ: سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ الْحَسَنَ الْبَصْرِيَّ عَنِ الْإِيمَانِ، فَقَالَ: " الْإِيمَانُ إِيمَانَانِ، فَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَسْأَلُنِي عَنِ الْإِيمَانِ بِاللهِ، وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ، وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ، وَالْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ، وَالْبَعْثِ وَالْحِسَابِ، فَأَنَا مُؤْمِنٌ، وَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَسْأَلُنِي عَنْ قَوْلِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: {إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ...} [الأنفال: 2] الْآيَة قَرَأَ إِلَى قوله {أُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَقًّا} [الأنفال: 4] فَوَاللهِ مَا أَدْرِي أَنَا مِنْهُمْ أَوْ لَا "
