He said: "Indeed, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has angels on the earth other than the recording guardians, who write down whatever falls of the leaves of the trees. So if one of you is afflicted with a lameness (or stumbling) on the earth where he cannot find helpers, let him call out and say: 'Servants of Allah, help us,' or 'assist us, may Allah have mercy on you,' for he will be helped." This is the wording of the hadith of Jaʿfar. In the narration of Rawḥ: "Indeed, Allah has angels on the earth who are called the guardians; they write down whatever falls to the earth of the leaves of the trees. So whenever one of you is afflicted with a lameness, or needs help in a desolate stretch of the earth, let him say: 'Help us, servants of Allah, may Allah have mercy on you,' for he will be helped, if Allah wills."
