قَالَ: وَنا الْغَلَابِيُّ، نا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ،
قَالَ: " نُعِيَ يَعْلَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ مِنَ الشَّامِ إِلَى أُمِّهِ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ ههُنَا أَحَدٌ غَيْرَهَا، فَأَتَى أَيُّوبُ بَابَهَا ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ فَيَقْعُدُ مَعَهَا " قَالَ: " وَلَمْ يَزَلْ يَصِلُهَا حَتَّى مَاتَتْ "
