أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ، أنا أَبُو مَنْصُورٍ النَّضْرَوِيُّ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، نا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، نا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، وَجَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ،
قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: آمُرُ إِمَامِي بِالْمَعْرُوفِ؟ قَالَ: " إِنْ خَشِيتَ أَنْ يَقْتُلَكَ فَلَا، فَإِنْ كُنْتَ فَاعِلًا فَفِيمَا بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ " زَادَ أَبُو عَوَانَةَ: " وَلَا تَعِبْ إِمَامَكَ "
