Machine translation, not reviewed

He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When I was taken up in the Ascension, I passed by men whose skins were being cut with scissors of fire. I said: Who are these? He said: Those who adorned themselves for the sake of adornment." He said: "Then I passed by a foul-smelling pit, and I heard harsh voices in it. I said: Who are these, O Jibrīl? He said: Women who used to adorn themselves for the sake of adornment and did what was not lawful for them. Then I passed by women and men hanging by their breasts. I said: Who are these, O Jibrīl? He said: These are the slanderers and the tale-bearers, and that is the saying of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic: {وَيْلٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍ} [al-Humazah: 1]." This is mursal, and we have narrated it with a connected chain (mawṣūl) earlier.
