أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ أَبِي مَعْرُوفٍ الْفَقِيهُ، وَأَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ نُجَيْدٍ، أَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ:
أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ كَانَ يَأْخُذُ الْحَبَّةَ مِنَ الرُّمَّانِ، فَيَأْكُلُهَا، قِيلَ لَهُ: يَا أَبَا عَبَّاسٍ، لِمَ تَفْعَلُ هَذَا؟ فَقَالَ: " إِنَّهُ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ فِي الْأَرْضِ رُمَّانَةٌ تُلْقَحُ، إِلَّا بِحَبَّةٍ مِنْ حَبِّ الْجَنَّةِ، فَلَعَلَّهَا هَذِهِ "
