وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ، وَهِشَامُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْعُودِيُّ، ثنا كَثِيرُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنِي قَزْعَةُ، ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدَ،
قَالَ: لَقِيتُ شَيْخًا بِأَيْلَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا يُرْفَعُ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ الْحَيَاءُ وَالْأَمَانَةُ، فَسَلُوهُمَا اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ "
