He said: While we were with the Messenger of God ﷺ, a man came in wearing fine clothing; I do not know that I had ever seen a man more radiant to my eyes than he. The Messenger of God ﷺ did not speak any words but the man wished that his own words would surpass the words of the Messenger of God ﷺ. Then he got up, and the Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Indeed God does not love this man and his party, who twist their tongues for the people as the cow twists its tongue around the herdsman. In the same way God will twist their faces and their tongues in the Fire."
