أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، نا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الثَّقَفِيُّ، نا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ اللَّبَقِيُّ، نا خَلَفُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، أنا مَعْمَرُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ،
قَالَتْ: " مَا كَانَ خُلُقٌ أَبْغَضَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْكَذِبِ، وَلَقَدْ كَانَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ أَصحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يُكْذَبُ عِنْدَهُ الْكَذْبَةُ، فَمَا يَزَالُ فِي نَفْسِهِ حَتَّى يَعْلَمَ أَنْ قَدْ أَحْدَثَ مِنْهَا تَوْبَةً ".
