أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ، حدثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَامِعَ بْنَ أَحْمَدَ الْخَزَّافَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ مُعَاذٍ الرَّازِيَّ
يَقُولُ: " الْعَارِفُونَ رَجُلَانِ: رَجُلٌ مَسْرُورٌ بِأَنَّهُ عَبْدُهُ، وَرَجُلٌ مَسْرُورٌ بِأَنَّهُ عَرَفَهُ، فَالْأَوَّلُ يَفْرَحُ بِاللهِ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ لِنَفْسِهِ، وَالْآخَرُ يَفْرَحُ بِاللهِ لِلَّهِ " وَقَالَ: " هَذَا سُرُورُ الْخَبَرِ فَكَيْفَ سُرُورُ النَّظَرِ "
