أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الحرفي، أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الدُّنْيَا، حَدَّثَنِي عِيسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ التَّمِيمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنِي وَلِيدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي شَيْخٌ، مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ،
قَالَ: كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الحُسَيْنٍ بِمِنًى، فَظَهَرَ مِنْ دُعَائِهِ أَنْ قَالَ: " كَمْ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ أَنْعَمْتَهَا عَلَيَّ قَلَّ لَكَ عِنْدَهَا شُكْرِي، وَكَمْ مِنْ بَلِيَّةٍ ابْتَلَيْتَنِي بِهَا قَلَّ لَكَ عِنْدَهَا صَبْرِي، فَيَا مَنْ قَلَّ شُكْرِي عِنْدَ نِعَمِهِ فَلَمْ يَحْرِمْنِي، وَيَا مَنْ قَلَّ صَبْرِي عِنْدَ بَلَائِهِ فَلَمْ يَخْذُلْنِي، وَيَا مَنْ رَآنِي عَلَى الْمَعَاصِي وَالذَّنُوبِ الْعِظَامِ فَلَمْ يَهْتِكْ سِتْرِي، وَيَا ذَا الْمَعْرُوفِ الَّذِي لَا يَنْقَضِي، وَيَا ذَا النِّعَمِ الَّتِي لَا تَحُولُ وَلَا تَزُولُ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا "
