أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ عُمَرَ بْنَ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَغْدَادِيَّ بِشِيرَازَ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ عَلِيَّ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاعِظَ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخَزَّاز
يَقُولُ: {هَلْ جَزَاءُ الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَّا الْإِحْسَانُ} [الرحمن: 60] " هَلْ جَزَاءُ مَنِ انْقَطَعَ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ إِلَّا التَّعَلُّقُ بِرَبِّهِ؟ وَهَلْ جَزَاءُ مَنِ انْقَطَعَ عَنْ أُنْسِ الْمَخْلُوقِينَ إِلَّا الْأُنْسُ بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ؟ وَهَلْ جَزَاءُ مَنْ صَبَرَ عَلَيْنَا إِلَّا الْوُصُولُ إِلَيْنَا؟ وَمَنْ وَصَلَ إِلَيْنَا هَلْ يَجْمُلُ بِهِ أَنْ يَخْتَارَ عَلَيْنَا؟ وَهَلْ جَزَاءُ التَّعَبِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالنَّصَبِ فِيهَا إِلَّا الرَّاحَةُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ؟ وَهَلْ جَزَاءُ مَنْ صَبَرَ عَلَى الْبَلْوَى إِلَّا التَّقَرُّبَ إِلَى الْمَوْلَى؟ وَهَلْ جَزَاءُ مَنْ سَلِمَ قَلْبُهُ إِلَيْنَا أَنْ نَجْعَلَ تَوْلِيَتَهُ إِلَى غَيْرِنَا؟ وَهَلْ جَزَاءُ مَنْ بَعُدَ عَنِ الْخَلْقِ إِلَّا التَّقَرُّبُ إِلَى الْحَقِّ؟ "
