He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Allah named the House 'al-ʿAtīq' (the Ancient, the Freed) only because He freed it from the tyrants, and no tyrant has ever prevailed over it." And we have narrated from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: "Six people I have cursed, and Allah has cursed them, and every prophet's prayer is answered: the one who denies the decree of Allah; the one who adds to the Book of Allah; the one who seizes power by tyranny, humiliating those whom Allah has honoured and honouring those whom Allah has humiliated; the one who treats as lawful what Allah has made sacred; the one who treats as lawful regarding my family what Allah has forbidden; and the one who abandons my sunnah."
