وَبِهِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ،
قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَاذَا يُنَجِّي الْعَبْدَ مِنَ النَّارِ؟ قَالَ: " الْإِيمَانُ بِاللهِ " فقُلْتُ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ مَعَ الْإِيمَانِ عَمَلٌ، قَالَ: " أَنْ تَرْضَخَ مِمَّا خَوَّلَكَ اللهُ أَوْ تَرْضَخَ مِمَا رَزَقَكَ اللهُ " قُلْتُ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ، فَإِنْ كَانَ فَقِيرًا لَا يَجِدُ مَا يَرْضَخُ؟ قَالَ: " يَأْمُرُ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَى عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ " قُلْتُ: إِنْ كَانَ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَأْمُرَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَلَا يَنْهَى عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ؟ قَالَ: " فَلْيُعِنِ الْأَخْرَقَ " قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ لَا يُحْسِنُ أَنْ يَصْنَعَ؟ قَالَ: " فَلْيُعِنْ مَظْلُومًا " قُلْتُ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ، أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ ضَعِيفًا لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يُعِينَ مَظْلُومًا؟ قَالَ: " مَا تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَتْرُكَ لِصَاحِبِكَ مِنْ خَيْرٍ لِيُمْسِكْ أَذَاهُ عَنِ النَّاسِ " قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ فَعَلَ هَذَا يَدْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ؟ قَالَ: " مَا مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ يُصِيبُ خَصْلَةً مِنْ هَذِهِ الْخِصَالِ إِلَّا أَخَذَتْ بِيَدِهِ حَتَّى تُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ "

He said: I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "What saves a servant from the Fire?" He said: "Faith in Allah." I said: "O Prophet of Allah, along with faith is there any deed?" He said: "That you give a little of what Allah has bestowed upon you, or of what Allah has provided for you." I said: "O Prophet of Allah, what if he is poor and finds nothing to give?" He said: "He enjoins the right and forbids the wrong." I said: "What if he is unable to enjoin the right and forbid the wrong?" He said: "Then let him help the clumsy." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think if he is not skilled at making anything?" He said: "Then let him help one who has been wronged." I said: "O Prophet of Allah, what do you think if he is weak and unable to help one who has been wronged?" He said: "Do you want to leave nothing good for your companion? Let him hold back his harm from people." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, if he does this, will he enter Paradise?" He said: "There is no believer who acquires one of these qualities but that it takes him by the hand until it admits him into Paradise."
