أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، قَالَ: قُرِئَ عَلَى الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، أَخْبَرَكَ أَبُوكَ،
قَالَ: سُئِلَ الْأَوْزَاعِيَّ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ: {كَانُوا قَلِيلًا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ} [الذاريات: 17] قَالَ: " قَلِيلًا مَا تَجِدُ الْمُؤْمِنَ يَنَامُ لَيْلَتَهُ كُلَّهَا "، قَالَ: وَسُئِلَ عَنِ الْخُشُوعِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فقَالَ: " غَضُّ الْبَصَرِ، وَخَفْضُ الْجَنَاحِ، وَأَنِينُ الْقَلْبِ وَهُوَ الْحُزْنُ " قَالَ: وَسَمِعْتُ الْأَوْزَاعِيَّ يَقُولُ: " بَلَغَنِي عَنْ قَوْلِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: {سِيمَاهُمْ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ مِنْ أَثَرِ السُّجُودِ} [الفتح: 29] قَالَ: مَا حَمَلَتْ جِبَاهُهُمْ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ "
