أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ،
قَالَ: " جَاءَ ضِمَامُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ وَقَدْ صَلَّى النَّاسُ وَقَدْ فَاتَتْهُ الصَّلَاةُ فَجَعَلَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ أَلَّا يَخْرُجَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ حَتَّى يَلْقَى اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " قَالَ: " فَجَعَلَهُ بَيْتَهُ حَتَّى مَاتَ "
