أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الحافظ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، حدثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ، حدثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أخبرنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَذَكَرَ قِصَّةَ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَامُ فِي مَسِيرِهِ
قَالَ: " فَبَيْنَمَا هُوَ يَسِيرُ فِي فَلَاةٍ إِذِ احْتَاجَ إِلَى الْمَاءِ فَجَاءَهُ الْهُدْهُدُ، فَجَعَلَ يَنْقُرُ الْأَرْضَ فَأَصَابَ مَوْضِعَ الْمَاءِ فَجَاءَتِ الشَّيَاطِينُ، فَسَلَخَتْ ذَلِكَ الْمَوْضِعَ كَمَا تُسْلَخُ الْإِهَابُ فَأَصَابُوا الْمَاءَ " قَالَ نَافِعُ بْنُ الْأَزْرَقِ: قِفْ أَرَأَيْتَ الْهُدْهُدَ كَيْفَ يَجِيءُ فَيَنْقُرُ الْأَرْضَ فَيُصِيبُ مَوْضِعَ الْمَاءِ وَهُوَ يَجِيءُ إِلَى الْفَخِّ، وَهُوَ لَا يُبْصِرُهُ حَتَّى يَقَعَ فِي عُنُقِهِ؟ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: " إِنَّ الْقَدَرَ إِذَا جَاءَ حَالَ دُونَ الْبَصَرِ "
