وَأَخْبَرَنَا الْفَقِيهُ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْفَامِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ، حدثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ النَّجَّادُ، حدثنا جَعْفَرٌ الصَّائِغُ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَلَامٍ، قَالَا: حدثنا عَفَّانُ، حدثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ،
قَالَ: قَرَأَ رَجُلٌ سُورَةَ الْكَهْفِ وَلَهُ دَابَّةٌ مَرْبُوطَةٌ، فَجَعَلَتِ الدَّابَّةُ تَنْفِرُ، فَنَظَرَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَى سَحَابَةٍ قَدْ غَشِيَتْهُ أوْ ضَبَابَةٍ، فَفَزِعَ، فَذَهَبَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا ذَاكَ الرَّجُلُ يَقْرَأُ فَذَكَرَ لَهُ، فَقَالَ: " اقْرَأْ فُلَانُ فَإِنَّ السَّكِينَةَ نَزَلَتْ لِلْقُرْآنِ أَوْ عِنْدَ الْقُرْآنِ " أَخْرَجَاهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ
