أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمُؤَمَّلِيُّ، حدثنا أَبُو عُثْمَانَ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حدثنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْفَرَّاءُ، أَخْبَرَنا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حدثنا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ،
قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: " اتَّبِعُوا وَلَا تَبْتَدِعُوا فَقَدْ كُفِيتُمْ "
