أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُؤَمَّلٍ، حدثنا أَبُو عُثْمَانَ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حدثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، أَخْبَرَنا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حدثنا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ،
قَالَ: " قَرَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى فِي صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ سُورَةَ الْأَنْفَالِ حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَى رَأْسِ الْأَرْبَعِينَ، {نِعْمَ الْمَوْلَى وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ} [الأنفال: 40] رَكَعَ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَقَرَأَ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ سُورَةً أُخْرَى مِنَ الْمُفَصَّلِ "
