أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، حدثنا الْحَسَنُ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، حدثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، حدثنا مَالِكٌ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ،
قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ: " لَا تَهُذُّوا الْقُرْآنَ هَذَّ الشِّعْرِ، وَلَا تَنْثِرُوهُ نَثْرَ الدَّقَلِ وَقِفُوا عِنْدَ عَجَائِبِهِ، وَحَرِّكُوا بِهِ الْقُلُوبَ "
