أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، حدثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، حدثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ،
قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: إِنِّي سَرِيعُ الْقُرْآنِ إِنِّي أَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ فِي ثَلَاثٍ قَالَ: " لَأَنْ أَقْرَأَ الْبَقَرَةَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ أَتَدَبَّرُهَا، وَأُرَتِّلُهَا أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ من أَنْ أَقْرَأَهُ كَمَا تَقْرَأُ "
