أخبرنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، قَالَا: حدثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، حدثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ النَّبِيلُ قَاضِي أَصْبَهَانَ، حدثنا الْحَوْطِيُّ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، حدثنا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ نُوحِ بْنِ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ،
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَنْ أَجْوَدُ جُودًا؟ " قَالُوا: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ، قَالَ: " اللهُ أَجْوَدُ جُودًا، ثُمَّ أَنَا أَجْوَدُ بَنِي آدَمَ، وَأَجْوَدُهُمْ مَنْ بَعْدِي رَجُلٌ عَلِمَ عِلْمًا فَنَشَرَهُ يَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَمِيرًا وَحْدَهُ " أَوْ قَالَ: " أُمَّة وَحْدَهُ "
