أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، حدثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، حدثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ، حدثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ
قَالَ: لَمَّا كُسِرَتْ رُبَاعِيَّةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، وَشُجَّ فِي جَبْهَتِهِ فَجَعَلَتِ الدِّمَاءُ تَسِيلُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، ادْعُ اللهَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ ﷺ: " إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى لَمْ يَبْعَثْنِي طَعَّانًا وَلَا لَعَّانًا، وَلَكِنْ بَعَثَنِي دَاعِيَةَ وَرَحْمَةٍ، اللهُمَّ اهْدِ قَوْمِي فَإِنَّهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ " " هَذَا مُرْسَلٌ " وَقَدْ:
