أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، نَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ، نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، نَا بَكْرُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَوْنٍ
قَالَ: بَنَى عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ بِنَاءً فَزَخْرَفَهُ، قَالَ فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِمُحَمَّدٍ، فَقَالَ: " مَا أَعْلَمُ عَلَى رَجُلٍ بَأْسًا أَنْ يَبْنِيَ بِنَاءً يَلْتَمِسُ جَمَالَهُ، وَهَذَا فِي الْإِبَاحَةِ "
