أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، نَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ هُوَ الْأَصَمُّ، نَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ، نَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، نَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، نَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، عَنْ نَوْفٍ،
قَالَ: " كَانَ سَرِيرُ عِوَجَ الَّذِي قَتَلَهُ مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ كَانَ طُولُ سَرِيرِهِ ثَمَانِمِائَةِ ذِرَاعٍ، وَعَرْضُهُ أَرْبَعُمِائَةِ ذِرَاعٍ، وَكَانَ مُوسَى عَشْرَةُ أَذْرُعٍ، وَعَصَاهُ عَشْرَةُ أَذْرُعٍ، وَوَثْبَتُهُ حِينَ وَثَبَ عَشْرَةُ أَذْرُعٍ، فَضَرَبَهُ فَأَصَابَ كَعْبَهُ، فَخَرَّ عَلَى نِيلِ مِصْرَ، فَجَسَرَهُ النَّاسُ عَامًا يَمُرُّونَ عَلَى صُلْبِهِ وَأَضْلَاعِهِ "
