أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، نَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ، نَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ الْعَاصِ، يَخْطُبُ بِمِصْرَ
يَقُولُ: " مَا أَبَعْدُ هَدْيِكُمْ مِنْ هَدْيِ نَبِيَّكُمْ ﷺ، أَمَّا هُوَ فَكَانَ أَزْهَدَ النَّاسِ فِي الدُّنْيَا، وَأَمَّا أَنْتُمْ فَأَرْغَبُ النَّاسِ فِيهَا "
