- وعن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال:
كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يبيت الليالي المتتابعه طاويا، وأهله لايجدون عشاء، وكان أكثر خبزهم خبز الشعير.
Translation
Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) went to bed hungry for several successive nights, nor did his family have a thing for supper for many consecutive nights; and their bread was mostly of barley. [At- Tirmidhi, who classified it as Hadith Hasan Sahih].
