  • Ibn Ḥajar al-ʿAsqalānī

machine translationThe correct statement is that of Abū Jazī, and Jarīr erred.

    in سنن النسائي, p. 5388
  • Aḥmad ibn Shuʿayb al-Nasāʾī

machine translationThe hadith of Hammām, from Qatādah, from Anas is rejected (munkar), and the correct version is Qatādah from Saʿīd b. Abī al-Ḥasan.

    in سنن النسائي, p. 5388
  • Aḥmad b. Ḥanbal

machine translationThis is an error (khaṭaʾ); the correct version is from Qatādah, from Saʿīd b. Abī al-Ḥasan.

    in سنن النسائي, p. 5388
  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translationThere is disagreement about it regarding Qatādah. Jarīr b. Ḥāzim narrated it from Qatādah, from Anas, and likewise ʿAmr b. ʿĀṣim narrated it from Hammām, from Qatādah, from Anas. Hishām al-Dastuwāʾī and Naṣr b. Ṭarīf narrated it from Qatādah, from Saʿīd b. Abī al-Ḥasan, the brother of al-Ḥasan, as a mursal report (mursal), and this is the correct version.

    in سنن النسائي, p. 5388
